WHEN THE BOOKS ARE OPENED

DANIEL 7:10 The Judgment was set, and the books were opened." The destiny of all is settled out of the record books of heaven.

REVELATION 20:12 "And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works."

The solemn importance attached to the blotting out of the sins of the saints from these books cannot be emphasized. When their sins are blotted out, they can never be used against them. They have been judged by what is in the books. This involves an examination. It is-also apparent, that they could not be judged until after their probation was ended. The Book of Life must be examined before the resurrection. This is made clear.

DANIEL 12:1 "And at that time shall Michael stand up, the great prince which stands for the children of thy people: and there shall be a time of trouble, such as never was since there was a nation even to that same time: and at that tim4 thy people shall be delivered, every one that shall be found written in the book."

The Book of Life is the final means of deciding who are “Thy people.”
Those in "the Lamb's Book of Life", those and those alone are delivered.
Therefore the Book of Life must have been examined before the day of deliverance. This plain and clear truth runs from cover to cover of Scripture.

EXODUS 32:32,33 "The Lord said.. .whosoever hath sinned against me, him will I blot out of my book."

PSALM 69:27,28 "Add iniquity unto their iniquity. . .let them be blotted out of the book of the living and not be written with the righteous."

PSALM 87:6 "The Lord shall count when He writes up the people."

ISAIAH 4:3 "Every one that is written among the living."

ISAIAH 4:4 "When the Lord shall have washed away the filth .... by the spirit of Judgment."

EZEKIEL 13:9 "Mine hand shall be upon the prophets that see vanity, and that divine lies they shall not be written in the writing" - That is the Book of Life.

LUKE 10:20 "Rejoice not that the spirits are subject unto you but. . .because your names are written in heaven."

PHILIPPIANS 4:3 "Help those... fellow laborers whose names are in the Book of Life."

HEBREWS 12:23 "The church of the first born which are written (enrolled) in heaven."

REVELATION 13:8 "All that dwell upon the earth shall worship him (beast) whose names are not written in the Book of Life of the Lamb.

REVELATION 3:5 "He that overcomes... I shall not blot out his name out of the Book of Life. Only those whose names are in the Book of Life will enter the Glory land.

REVELATION 21:27 "And there shall in no wise enter into it anything that defiles, neither whatsoever works abomination, or makes a lie: but they which are written in the Lamb's book of life."

Some may speak of "Good News Unlimited" but the Scriptures reveal that Heaven is very limited and restricted. "There shall in no wise enter into it anything that defiles." You will not be able to smuggle in even a postage stamp. You must be an "Overcomer" to enter Heaven.

REVELATION 21:7 "He that overcomes shall inherit all things; and I will be his God, and he shall be my son."

The Overcomer will inherit all things.
The Overcomers name will be retained in the Book of Life.
This will entitle him to a place in the land of Glory. Here is another reason for a person's name to be removed.

REVELATION 22:19 "If any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the Book of Life and out of the Holy City."
