Commandment 1

You shall have no other God’s before me.

I am the LORD thy God, which have brought you out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage. You shall have no other gods before me. Exodus 2:2-3.

Commandment 2

You shall not make any graven images

You shall not make unto you any graven image, or any likeness of anything that is in heaven above, or that

is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth. You shall not bow down yourself to them, nor serve them. For I the LORD thy God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generation of them that hate me; And showing mercy unto thousands of them that love me, and keep my commandments. Exodus 20:4-6.

Commandment 3

You shall not take the name of God in vain.

You shall not take the name of the LORD thy God in vain; for the LORD will not hold him guiltless that

takes his name in vain. Exodus 20:7.

Commandment 4

Remember the Sabbath day to keep it holy.

Remember the Sabbath day, to keep it holy. Six days shall thou labor, and do all thy work: But the seventh

day is the Sabbath of the LORD thy God. In it you shall not do any work, you, nor your son, nor your daughter, your manservant, nor your maidservant, nor your cattle, nor the stranger that is within your gates. For in six days the LORD made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that in them is, and rested the seventh day: wherefore the LORD blessed the Sabbath day, and hallowed it. Exodus 20:8-11

Commandment 5

Honor your Father and Mother

Honor your father and thy mother: that your days may be long upon the land which the LORD your God

gives you. Exodus 20:12.

Commandment 6

Thou shalt not kill

You shall not kill. Exodus 20:13

Commandment 7

You shall not commit adultery

You shall not commit adultery. Exodus 20:14.

Commandment 8

You shall not steal

You shall not steal. Exodus 20:15.

Commandment 9

You shall not bear false witness

You shall not bear false witness against your neighbor. Exodus 20:16.

Commandment 10

You shall not covet

You shall not covet your neighbor’s house, you shall not covet your neighbor’s wife, nor his manservant,

nor his maidservant, nor his ox, nor his ass, nor any thing that is your neighbor’s. Exodus 20:17

1 Corinthians 15:56 The sting of death is sin; and the strength of sin is the law.

James

James 1:25 But whoso looks into the perfect law of liberty, and continues therein, he being not a forgetful hearer, but a doer of the work, this man shall be blessed in his deed.

James 2:8 If you fulfill the royal law according to the scripture, Thou shall love thy neighbor as thyself, you do well: 9 But if you have respect to persons, you commit sin, and are convinced of the law as transgressors. 10 For whosoever shall keep the whole  law, and yet offend in one point, he is guilty of all. 11 For he that said, Do not commit adultery, said also, Do not kill. Now if you commit no adultery, yet if you kill, you art become a transgressor of the law. 12 So speak you, and so do, as they that shall be judged by the law of liberty.

2:3 And hereby we do know that we know him, if we keep his commandments.

2:4 He that said, I know him, and keeps not his commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him.

3:4 Whosoever commits sin transgresses also the law: for sin is the transgression of the law.

3:22 And whatsoever we ask, we receive of him, because we keep his commandments, and do those things that are pleasing in his sight.

Revelation

11:19 And the temple of God was opened in heaven, and there was seen in his temple the ark of his testament: and there were lightning, and voices, and thundering, and an earthquake, and great hail.

12:17 And the dragon was wroth with the woman, and went to make war with the remnant of her seed, which keep the commandments of God, and have the testimony of Jesus Christ.
