unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one
tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled. Matthew 5:18

This is the first
and great commandment. Matthew 22:38

like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour
as thyself. Matthew 22:39
On these two
commandments hang all the law and the prophets. Matthew 22:40

For laying aside
the commandment of God, ye hold the tradition of men, as the washing of pots
and cups: and many other such like things ye do. Mark 7:8
And he said unto
them, Full well ye reject the commandment of God, that ye may keep your own
tradition. Mark 7:9

commit adultery, Do not kill, Do not steal, Do not bear false witness, Defraud
not, Honour thy father and mother. Mark 10:19

scribes came, and having heard them reasoning together, and perceiving that he
had answered them well, asked him, Which is the first
commandment of all? Mark 12:28

Hear, O Israel; The Lord our God is one Lord: Mark 12:29

law? Why go ye about to kill me? John 7:19

say on. Acts 13:15

confess unto thee, that after the way which they call heresy, so worship I the

for himself, Neither against the law of the Jews,
neither against the temple, nor yet against Caesar, have I offended any thing at all. Acts 25:8

appointed him a day, there came many to him into his lodging; to whom he expounded
and testified the kingdom of God, persuading them concerning Jesus, both out of
the law of Moses, and out of the prophets, from morning till evening. Acts
28:23
Romans
(For not the
hearers of the law are just before God, but the doers of the law shall be
justified. Romans 2:13
For when the
Gentiles, which have not the law, do by nature the things contained in the law,
these, having not the law, are a law unto themselves: Romans 2:14
Which show the
work of the law written in their hearts, their conscience also bearing witness,
and their thoughts the mean while accusing or else excusing one another;)
Romans 2:15
Behold, thou art
called a Jew, and restest in the law, and makest thy boast of God, Romans 2:17
And knowest his will, and approvest the things that are more excellent, being instructed out of the law; Romans 2:18
An instructor of
the foolish, a teacher of babes, which hast the form of knowledge and of the
truth in the law. Romans 2:20
Thou that makest thy boast of the law, through breaking the law dishonourest thou God? Romans 2:23
Now we know that
what things soever the law saith, it saith to them who are under the law: that
every mouth may be stopped, and all the world may become guilty before God.
Romans 3:19
Therefore by the deeds of the law there shall no flesh be justified in his
sight: for by the law is the knowledge of sin. Romans 3:20
But now the
righteousness of God without the law is manifested, being witnessed by the law
and the prophets; Romans 3:21
Do we then make
void the law through faith? God forbid: yea, we
establish the law. Romans 3:31
Because the law
worketh wrath: for where no law is, there is no transgression. Romans 4:15
(For until the
law sin was in the world: but sin is not imputed when there is no law. Romans
5:13
Moreover the law entered, that the offence might abound. But where sin
abounded, grace did much more abound: Romans 5:20
For sin shall not
have dominion over you: for ye are not under the law, but under grace. Romans
6:14
What then? shall
we sin, because we are not under the law, but under grace? God forbid. Romans
6:15
Know ye not,
brethren, (for I speak to them that know the law,) how that the law hath
dominion over a man as long as he liveth?
Romans 7:1
For the woman
which hath an husband is bound by the law to her
husband so long as he liveth; but if the husband be
dead, she is loosed from the law of her husband. Romans 7:2
So then if, while
her husband liveth, she be married to another man,
she shall be called an adulteress: but if her husband be dead, she is free from
that law; so that she is no adulteress, though she be married to another man.
Romans 7:3
Wherefore, my
brethren, ye also are become dead to the law by the body of Christ; that ye
should be married to another, even to him who is raised from the dead, that we
should bring forth fruit unto God. Romans 7:4
For when we were
in the flesh, the motions of sins, which were by the law, did work in our
members to bring forth fruit unto death. Romans 7:5
But now we are
delivered from the law, that being dead wherein we were held; that we should
serve in newness of spirit, and not in the oldness of the letter. Romans 7:6
What shall we say
then? is the law sin? God forbid. Nay, I had not known sin, but by the law: for
I had not known lust, except the law had said, Thou
shalt not covet. Romans 7:7
But sin, taking
occasion by the commandment, wrought in me all manner of concupiscence. For
without the law sin was dead. Romans 7:8
For I was alive
without the law once: but when the commandment came, sin revived, and I died.
Romans 7:9
And the
commandment, which was ordained to life, I found to be unto death. Romans 7:10
For sin, taking
occasion by the commandment, deceived me, and by it slew me. Romans 7:11
Wherefore the law
is holy, and the commandment holy, and just, and good. Romans 7:12
Was then that which is
good made death unto me? God forbid. But sin, that it might appear sin, working
death in me by that which is good; that sin by the commandment might become
exceeding sinful. Romans 7:13
If then I do that which I would not, I consent unto the law that it is good. Romans 7:16 For I delight in the law of God after the inward man: Romans 7:22
I thank God
through Jesus Christ our Lord. So then with the mind I myself serve the law of God; but with the flesh the law of sin. Romans 7:25
For the law of
the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and
death. Romans 8:2
For what the law
could not do, in that it was weak through the flesh, God sending his own Son in
the likeness of sinful flesh, and for sin, condemned sin in the flesh: Romans
8:3
That the righteousness of the law might be fulfilled in us, who walk
not after the flesh, but after the Spirit. Romans 8:4 Because the carnal mind
is enmity against God: for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed
can be. Romans 8:7
Who are Israelites;
to whom pertaineth the adoption, and the glory, and
the covenants, and the giving of the law, and the service of God, and the
promises; Romans 9:4
But Israel, which
followed after the law of righteousness, hath not
attained to the law of righteousness. Romans 9:31
Wherefore?
Because they sought it not by faith, but as it were by the works of the law.
For they stumbled at that stumbling stone; Romans 9:32
For Christ is the
end of the law for righteousness to every
one that believeth. Romans 10:4
For Moses describeth the righteousness
which is of the law, That the man which doeth those things shall live by them.
Romans 10:5
Owe no man any thing, but to love one another: for he that loveth
another hath fulfilled the law. Romans 13:8
For this, Thou shalt not commit adultery, Thou shalt not kill, Thou
shalt not steal, Thou shalt not bear false witness, Thou shalt not covet; and
if there be any other commandment, it is briefly comprehended in this saying,
namely, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.
